Job Description

To implement these values and help us to grow, Hivebrite is looking for the Squad lead of its mobile squad.

As a squad lead, and as any software engineer working at Hivebrite, your primary goal is to design, maintain & advance our platform. We want you to build fast, intuitive and powerful User Interfaces & Experiences solving complex underlying technical challenges. We believe in leading by example so we expect a great quality and attention to detail on the whole delivery, including functional and non functional aspects

As a leader, you will also help a team of both frontend and backend developers to give life to a vibrant mobile application and its associated backend services.

The job is based either in Paris, in Sophia-Antipolis or remote (with a monthly visit to one of our offices).


  • Create the new architecture of the mobile application at Hivebrite
  • Find elegant solutions to usability problems 
  • Support the team to find the best options for developing great features

  • 5+ years of programming experience either JS or Android/iOSA
  • Rock-solid foundation in Computer Science (data structures, algorithms, software design)
  • Experience working in a very fast-paced and continuously changing environment
  • Great oral and written communication in English
  • Experience in agile setup
  • 🌟NICE TO HAVE...

  • Experience with Fastlane for App automation
  • Experience with React Native / React Native Web
  • Knowledge or appetite regarding backend development (Go or Ruby)
  • Experience with Jenkins appreciated
  • Open-source contributions

  • A 30 min video-call with our Lead Backend and another senior tech team member to discuss software architecture and help you see yourself in the company
  • A 60 min video-call with our VP of Engineering to discuss leadership and answer any of your questions regarding the perspective and ways of working of the tech team
  • A 30 min video-call with our Head of Human Resources to better know you and answer any of your questions at this stage of the process
