How is marketing pay split between fixed salary and variable pay?

Marketing pay can include a performance-based variable component. This is especially true for roles with a direct impact on the company’s revenue, such as growth, acquisition and leadership roles.

How to recruit in marketing?

Hiring in marketing can be complex because some roles are fairly technical or sector-specific, and companies compete hard for the best candidates. Growth, acquisition and leadership roles in particular can be hard to fill.
